On this large ceramic stoneware tile a Black Bird examines a red rose and contemplates the Latin quote, " Amantes sunt amentes" which roughly translates to "lovers are lunatics" . Ravens are famous symbols associated with fortune and magic. The tile is sculpted stoneware ceramic and is one of a kind, Not mass produced. It is a original work of art with beautiful glazes and great detail. It has a wire for hanging as wall art that is easily removed if one wants to use it as a Art Tile installation.
It measures 6"x12" & roughly 7" at center. Picture quality is good but does not convey just how nice this work is.
